Oh well - we made the best of it and it was great to spend quality time with the kids and really jol with them! We managed to spend 2 days in the sun on the beach and in the pool. Andrew was not too happy with the beach (he has never liked it) and it took a bit of convincing to get him onto the sand - he was scared of the waves and said the sea was too loud for him. He was much happier in the pool and had a blast there! Little Michael was oblivious too all of this and took to the beach and the ocean like he has always known it - he thoroughly enjoyed the sand and the puddles on the rocks.
We also managed to get to Ushaka Marine World and I was well impressed! I absolutely loved it and could really have spent the entire day there! It is beautiful and clean and so well done. We saw the Dolphin show and the seal show and spent a few hours in the actual aquarium. It was really great.
It was just so nice to get away and get out of our normal daily routine - a really nice break!!
