11 December - Professional photos

I finally received the professional photos that we had taken a few weeks back and all I can say is WOW!! I am so happy with them.....

9 December - Train trip

We went on a train trip today - it was a very special trip around Pretoria on a 1948 Steam Train. It was really a lovely experience and we thoroughlly enjoyed it! It was so nice seeing Pretoria from another perspective!

8 December - First haircut

My little Schalk Burger/Maltese Poodle baby got his first proper haircut on Saturday courtesy of Aunty Fabienne. He was as good as gold and now just looks naughtier than ever!

4 December - At the pool

Michael and I went to a pool party last weekend and this is how he walked around for about 4 hours! He just sat at the pool and stared in amazement! He is a real little water baby this one.

1 December - It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas!

Well the tree went up on Saturday and so far is still standing! Andrew had a ball hanging up all the ornaments after oohing and aahing about each one first. Michael's mission in life at the moment is to pull down all the ornaments and if he is lucky the whole tree will come down with it! I just still need to get lights as ours broke last year.

27 November - Somewhere over the rainbow

Late yesterday afternoon I happened to look out the window and this is what I saw! It was the most besutiful sight that I have seen for a long time. The sky was a bright pink and the rainbow's colours were so vivid. The rainbow was so big that I could not get it all in one photo.

18 Novermber - Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens

We went to the Walter Sisulu botanical gardens for a family photshoot today. What a gorgeous, unspoilt place. Definitely a place I will be visiting much more. Natasha took some photos for us (can't wait to see them) and then we had breakfast there with Jenny. Ended up spending the entire morning there. What a fun day!

16 November - Riding on a whale

For the first time ever Andrew came home with a picture that he had drawn and I could actually see exactly what it was.

12 November - Fun with the cousins

My cousin, his wife and 2 beautiful daughters were in Pretoria for a long weekend. It was so wonderful to see them again and to meet little Olivia, who is only 7 months old. The kids all got on really well and (I think) had a good time. It was nice to also spend some time with Jean adn Tracey again and to catch up on what is happening in our lives.

7 November - Model baby

I am really struggling to get nice photos of Andrew (he is very camera-shy suddenly), but took some beautiful shots of Michael a few days ago. He was playing on our bed after a bath and was in such a good mood - I grabbed the camera and had fun with him.

5 November - busy boy

3 November - Year-end function

Ed and I went to my company's year-end function tonight. What fun! The theme was Arabian Nights and they really outdid themselves with both the decor and the food - it was a great evening.
