12- 14 September - Dikhololo weekend

Ed, myself and the kids went to Dikhololo for the weekend together with Burnard, Vanessa adn their kids. What fun! It was a fantastic, hot weekend and was great to all spend some time together. The kids had a blast and just loved being in each other's company for 48 solid hours (with not too many fights).

Visiting mom - September 2008

The kids and I went to visit my mom the weekend - it was great spending some quality time with them and finally seeing my mom's (stunning) new house. The village is great and there are loads of walking paths and playground areas for the kids.

31 August 2008 - Spring day painting

Andrew made a hat for his school's Spring Day celebrations. I bought him a polystyrene hat which he painted blue before it was decorated. Needless to say boys being boys, while we were waiting for the hats to dry (Michael also had one) they decided to paint themselves!

30 August 2008 - Athletics day

Andrew's school had an athletics day on Saturday where the kids participated in 3 races. They had to run and collect bean bags to put into a bucket, then it was a sprint and finally the dads had to piggy-back the kids in a race. As a bonus the toddler siblings could also run a final race with the school-going kids.
