Thunderstorm - 28 September 2009

We had our first (very early) highveld thunderstorm last night. I LOVE these storms. I love the smell of rain and I love the fact that the dust from the winter has now settled.

Happy 7th wedding anniversary - 14 September 2009

7 long, glorious (most of the time) years that Ed and I have been married. Amazing how we have grown and what we have accomplished over such a relatively short period.

Happy Birthday Ouma - 12 September 2009

My grandmother turned 87 last Saturday - such an achievement! She is looking so good and is doing so well. Such an honour actually to have spent some time with her on her special day.

The consequences of having an afternoon nap - 6 September 2009

Ed and I had a nap on Sunday afternoon. It was glorious! An hour later we woke up to destruction in the house (I can live with that) and a tiger (who had gotten hold of a black marker)......

Developments on our highways - September 2009

We were driving around the other day and I had my camera in the car so decided to take a few photos of all the upgrades happening on our highways in Pretoria - it is going to be amazing once it is all done. And then of course there is Gautrain opening next year too.
