12 January - Trip to the Zoo

Robert and Katherine and Ed, myself and the kids went to the zoo last week Saturday. What a great trip! The kids loved it and we all had fun looking at the animals. The highlights were seeing the tiger and the lions out and up-close and seeing the Koalas running around and being fed.

9 January 2008 - Big School

Andrew started mini "big school" today and has gone into Grade 000 at Woodhill College. I can't believe that my little boy is there already and this all at the age of only 3!!! It went quite well and there were a few tears shed (as expected), but it is just a matter of adjustment and I am sure he is going to settle in well and be very happy there.

New Year 2007/2008

The entire Cross family went out to Al's farm for new year and we had an absolute ball! The cousins played like there was no end and we "kuier-ed", swam and generally relaxed. Ed and Andrew decided to camp for the 2 nights that we were there (must be a male thing) and Burnard, Vanessa and the kids joined them the 2nd night. New Year's was not even considered and we were in bed by 10pm, but woke up to the fire-works and crackers in the area at 12pm. New Year's day itself was glorious!!
