Krugersdorp Rhino and Lion Park

Us living in South Africa don't actually realise how fortunate we are to live in this country. One tends to forget about the animals around here that we "grow up with". It is only until you head out to one of the many game farms, lodges adn reserves that one remembers that there is more to this country. The Krugersdorp Rhino and Lion Park is one of those magical places.

Another weekend another sport event - 29 August 2009

Andrew's school had a mini olypics on this past Saturday for all the pre-primary (grade 0, 00 and 000) classes. It was actually so cute. There were about 10 events staged around a 400m track, ranging from shot-put (with a water balloon) to javelin (with a cardboard cyliner). The whole thing took just over an hour and in the end every child received a "medal", which Andrew was really chuffed about.
